Scholarships are available to all students who can show 'need' through their application; and ability through interviews with our fine art committee for the Fine Art Scholarship; and our music committee for the Music Scholar-ship.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
1. Be a resident of New Jersey or plan to attend an accredited college in New Jersey.
2. Be pursuing a degree in Fine Art or Music.
3. Be accepted for full time enrollment to attend an accredited college in New Jersey.
4. Show a true financial need for the scholarship in order to attend your chosen college or continue your education if you are already enrolled in an accredited college in New Jersey.
5. Have a Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
SELECTION PROCESS The Scholarship Committee will consider these criteria in making their selection:
1. Financial Need - please include with your application your income tax returns for the last 2 years and those of your parent or guardian (if appropriate) for the same period.
2. Academic achievement - please include an official transcript from your High School or College.
3. Statement of educational goals and career objectives.
4. For students pursuing a degree in Fine Art, you will be required to pres- ent your portfolio and one original piece in person to our Fine Arts com- mittee.
5. For students pursuing a degree in Music, you will be required to audition for our Music Committee.
APPLICATION PERIOD Applications will be available at the Financial Aid offices of accredited New Jersey colleges as of September 1, 2010.
